This Saturday, November 9th, there will be much activity and much traffic leading up to Mack Hall in the morning.  Each month, the Saint Vincent de Paul Society from Saint Agnes oversees the monthly distribution of foods to those families that are in need of assistance.  They serve approximately 150 families from the area, who gather here at SEAS which serves as a distribution center.  Equipment and emergency foods are also store in our garages for ongoing emergencies.  The Saint Vincent de Paul Society’s Food Bank Ministry is of great value to so many in the area.  They also provide Christmas gifts to the children of the families through the Giving Tree and Angel Tree before Christmas, which many of you participate in.  If in need, please call our office for a contact number.

We from our parish family lend a helping hand with volunteers, through a regular financial support of the work through our Charity Account, by providing lunch bags for the kids during the school year and summer lunch totes when school is not in session, and providing dinner totes at Christmas, as well as supplemental gift cards at Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

This ministry is a great necessity for so many.  The service of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society and volunteers is outstanding.  And the mission of outreach that is Church is an inspiration.  Our deepest thanks.  And if anyone can help out, call us we’ll put you in touch.
